But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat. He sent a wind to blow across the earth, and the floodwaters began to recede. Genesis 8:1 NLT
Up until now we see have seen God’s judgment through the flood narrative, but from this point on we see a shift to that of redemption. God remembered Noah, his family, and all the animals. To “remember” in the Bible wasn’t God simply not forgetting about his people, but it was an expression of concern for them, it was an act of love. When God remembers his children, he does so “with favor.” We see this demonstrated by the wind he sent to help the waters recede.
God is a just God, so we will see seasons of judgement in order world especially when we are out of his will and doing what we want. The good news is that He has not forgotten about you. He remembers you and will show you favor because you are his child.
Ask God to send the wind of his favor in your life where you most need it and know that you are special and highly favored.
